NTCA Urges the FCC Not to Require Carriers to Remove Covered Equipment Before Funding is Available

On May 20, 2020, NTCA filed comments in response to an FCC Public Notice asking how the Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Act (“Act”) affects the FCC’s proposed rules for reimbursing eligible telecommunications carriers for the cost of removing and replacing covered equipment and services from their networks.
