As the Director of Benefits Communications for NTCA—The Rural Broadband Association, Jill Vanness leads the strategic effort for engaging members with new technologies and business tools supporting benefits administration. She and her team focus on communicating the value of NTCA’s member-driven benefit plans and helping administrators and participants understand how to fully utilize them.
Before joining NTCA, Jill spent 13 years with a distribution electric cooperative in Central North Carolina, where she managed all internal and external communications, community outreach and public relations efforts. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the Blue Ridge mountains of Asheville with her family.
