He has served as chair of the Legal Committee, is general counsel for Texas Statewide Telephone Cooperative, and is recognized as a Texas Bar Fellow. Additionally, his contributions to community organizations like the Cattle Barron’s Ball have further solidified his commitment to making a positive impact beyond the courtroom.

Outside of his legal practice, Daniel cherishes spending time with his family. He is married to Erin, a professor at the Texas Tech University School of Nursing, and together they have two children, Bryson and Lainey. As members of First Baptist Church, the Gibson family actively participates in various community events and supports their children’s activities.
