On Monday, May 16, 2016, Michael Romano, Senior Vice President-Policy, on behalf of NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association met separately with: (1) Stephanie Weiner, legal advisor to Chairman Tom Wheeler, and Carol Mattey and Alexander Minard of the Wireline Competition Bureau; and (2) Rebekah Goodheart, legal advisor to Commissioner Mignon Clyburn, regarding the framework for competitive bidding under the Connect America Fund (“CAF”) Phase 2 program and other universal service fund (“USF”)-related matters.
