Construction Technician
3 Rivers Communications has an opening for a construction technician.
A construction technician is responsible for installation, maintenance and repair of plant facilities, ie: Fiber cable both buried and aerial.
The ideal candidate should have some knowledge, skill or ability in the following:
- Operation of the following types of equipment; cable plows, trenchers, backhoes, excavators, bucket trucks, bore machines, trucks, trailers for hauling various equipment and fiber splicing
- Proficient operation of various power tools
- Able to use various test equipment
- Locate buried cable 5. Have valid commercial drivers’ license with acceptable driving record
- Proficient in the reading of construction sheets
