FRS hosts fundraising events at most of the large NTCA meetings. The tickets and sponsorships for these events help us increase the visibility of FRS and raise funds for our programs. Attending these events is a great way to have fun in an informal setting while also supporting FRS activities that benefit rural communities and the people who live there.
FRS Rural Run/Walk 5K
The Foundation for Rural Service Rural Run/Walk, a virtual 5K fundraiser, is right around the corner! Sign up now to complete a 5K (3.1 miles) at your own pace in your neighborhood during the month of September.
Be sure to sign up by August 16 to get your Rural Run/Walk shirt in time for the event! Registration continues throughout the month of September.
Member companies participating in GHP Wellness Connections may use this event toward their yearly activity requirement, but all NTCA member companies' employees are encouraged to participate!
You may register yourself, a team of colleagues, or your entire company! Each registration raises funds for FRS programs.

Each participant will receive an FRS Rural Run/Walk t-shirt, delivered to their home or team coordinator.
Choose your route, sport your FRS t-shirt, and complete your 5K any time during the month of September!
- Fitness trackers or apps like MapMyRun or Nike Run Club can track your distance.
- Include your family members and pets.
- You can run, walk, jog, or bike! Just get moving.
When you've finished, snap a photo and tell us where you completed your 5K!

FRS Welcome Reception Cornhole Tournament
$25 per player; $50 per team of two
Join colleagues and other Fall Conference attendees in friendly competition and register your two-person team for the FRS Welcome Reception Cornhole Tournament. No partner? No problem. Register as an individual, and we will pair you with a partner. There are a limited number of participant slots available. Prizes will be awarded to the top three tournament teams.

Dueling Pianos with FRS
$195 per person for the first 150; $225 per person for the remaining attendees
$1,800 for a group of 10 tickets
Join FRS for a night of live music and fun at Howl at the Moon! Dueling pianos will play your favorite hits and take requests all night long. Event ticket includes entertainment, dinner, and unlimited beer and wine.

All event proceeds benefit FRS programs including Youth Tour, scholarships, and community grants.
