(July 8) In a meeting with the office of FCC Commissioner Geoffrey Starks, NTCA and a group of RLEC parties proposed changes to the Next Generation 911 Draft Order on the FCC’s July meeting agenda. NTCA and the RLEC parties noted that their proposal would help avoid legal and factual errors in the FCC’s original proposal and in the Draft Order, as well as help avoid significant new costs for rural communities.
