WK&T Telecommunications, a Smart Rural Community designated telecommunications provider located in Mayfield, KY is seeking a progressive, strategic and analytical Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This community-focused cooperative is growth-focused and ready for a new member of the executive team to contribute to, and share in, their success.
This key position, reporting directly to the CEO and supported by an engaged board of directors, will oversee all financial activities including but not limited to: organizational budgets, financial statements, regulatory reporting, business and financial planning, audit functions, forecasting and grant accounting.
Successful candidate will be tactical and forward looking in nature, a team player, and possess strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to prioritize and juggle competing priorities is essential to success along with a passion for the telecommunications industry. Experience in the regulatory aspects of the FCC and/or state regulatory proceedings is required. CPA and M&A experience helpful but not required. A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 7-10 years in a finance role, showing progressive growth and leadership experience is ideal.
