Plateau is currently accepting applications for a Construction Technician for our Mainline Crew.
This person will perform construction work to lay fiber optic cable throughout Plateau’s serving area. Crew members will report to assigned job sites and will stay in the job area until work is completed. Minimum requirements include the ability to lift at least 50 pounds, a valid driver’s license with a clear 3-year driving record, and the ability to perform physically exerting tasks with routine exposure to dust, dirt, wind, and temperature extremes. This position is subject to overtime requirements as needed to meet production standards and extensive travel throughout New Mexico (including overnight stays) is required. A current CDL license is preferred, as crew members will be responsible for moving heavy equipment from site to site.
